Breakfast
East.
A traditional breakfast is based on rice, seafood and fermented foods, which do not differ substantially from dishes eaten at other meals in Asian cuisine. An exception is natto (a type of fermented soybeans), which is popularly eaten for breakfast. A typical breakfast presentation in a restaurant would be miso soup, rice with garnishes, natto, rice porridge, raw egg and pickled vegetables. The influence of travelers has made this traditional breakfast a standard option in the menus of many luxury hotels in cities around the world. It is common in homes include elements of last night's dinner for breakfast the next day. Western breakfast foods such as toast and boiled or fried eggs are also common, and cereals are increasingly popular. The typical breakfast drink is green tea (traditional).

Australian Breakfast .

in New Zealand and Australia, the typical breakfast breakfast is very similar to other English speaking countries. Due to warm weather in parts of Australia, breakfast is usually light. The light breakfast consisting of cereal, toast, fruit and fruit juices rather than cooked items. However, people in these countries also enjoy a heavy breakfast with fried bacon, egg, mushrooms, sausage, tomatoes and toast, with tea or coffee and juice (similar to a full English breakfast.) Some other typical meals include pancakes, yogurt and hash browns.

American Breakfast.

A typical contemporary combination of food for a hearty breakfast consists of eggs (fried or scrambled), a type of meat and one or two starchy dishes; commonly brownies and toast. A more basic breakfast combination would be a starchy food (such as toast, pastry, cereal, oatmeal, pancakes) alone or served with fruit and yogurt. This second option, similar to the continental breakfast served in Europe, is especially common in institutional situations where serving hot food is difficult, expensive or impractical.

Italian breakfast.

Traditional breakfast in Italy is simply Caffè e latte (coffee with milk) with bread or rolls, butter and jam - known as prima colazione colazione or just. Fette biscottate commonly eaten (a cookie as hard, often eaten with butter and jam) and Cantuccini (cookies). Children drink hot chocolate, plain milk or hot milk with very little coffee. It is very common for Italians to have a quick breakfast and a snack during the morning (typically a panino, or bread roll).
